Housewarming Help

We're back! Finally settled into the new house for the most part, and in short--we love it! It's already home, and we couldn't be any happier. Except maybe if Tess would share her two walk-in closets…but there has already been a consensus on that via her shoe collection, which loudly screamed "no".

Now we need help from all of our blog readers and followers! A housewarming party is eminent this weekend, and we need your help to decide which outfit out of four screams "welcome to my home, we're super happy here and we hope you are too!" Below are the four outfits pictured, completely different options, each unique to our own styles. Let us know what you pick by leaving a comment here on the blog--they're enabled so that you don't have to have a gmail account to leave one--or by emailing us what you think! Whichever one you guys pick will ultimately be featured, where we'll show you specs and how much we scored them for, on our final housewarming party blog: where we'll also be showing you all the neat DIY and South Shore (or in this case, BBQ)  things we did to make it awesome!

Thrifted: Time Warp

\

Perhaps 85 is excessive. Or obsessive. I have 85 watches. All different.  They range from unknown brands to my precious classic Movado (gifted several years ago from my fiancé) to the wind up Tiffany that I found…FOUND!  In a parking lot, and my great grandmother’s Hamilton.  I have Fossils, Seikos, Anne Kleins, Gucci’s. I probably need to stop buying them. Yea, that would be good. But how can you NOT buy a Seiko for $3.99 when all it needs is a battery??

Fossil Vintage 50 Meters Blue – similar retail $139 – because who doesn’t need a waterproof watch. You never know when I might go diving. Or, you know, forget to take my watch off before a shower.

Gucci Green – Not positive this is an original, however it has the Gucci stamp on the back – retail similar $595. And every Irish girl needs a green watch. Or two.

Gruen Silver/gold – similar $29.99 For when I want to make a little more of a statement. My go-to watch.

Studio Time Abalone Bangle watch – similar $24.99 Iridescent pretty colors. Vintage look. How could I resist??

Peugeot Leather Band - Similar $72 – For those times when I need to look business like. You know, working from home, you never know.

Seiko various – Similar $195-$250 You can never have too many Seikos, I say. Understated elegance, delicate look,  my more ladylike watches; the black one just spoke to me. It said “you MUS T have me. I am a Seiko and you cannot resist.” Of course, I listened.

Carriage by Timex – Similar $118 Timex. ‘Nuff said.

Candie’s – retail unknown -  Again with the green, this one is just fun.

Vintage Helbros – retail similar up to $60 very sleek and lady like with a hint of fun

Can we talk about the watch racks?  The three tier black velvet one was my first. It was simple, search watch displays in Amazon, BAM!  Buy the biggest one.  $15.99 if I remember right.

Then there’s the awesome DIY rack. There we were in Savers, not buying clothes ( I may or may not be lying, Katie’s T-shirt drawer does seem a little fuller, but that's for another blog) And I see this thing on the shelf. This tall spindly thing and my mind starts working…yea, hanging watches off this thing, that could work. And so it did. Figured out it was originally a CD rack (Atlantic 74 CD Wave Rack), $5.99, retail around $39. Not too bad!
